For the development of the Pocket Kit, Ludwig teamed up with Questlove, band leader and drummer of The Roots. The idea was to design a kit especially for early learners. It needed to be complete so kids could get started right away. The result is a package consisting of drums, cymbals, hardware (including bass drum pedal), a drum throne, sticks, and a drum key. This model has a Silver Sparkle finish and black hardware. It was handmade by Ludwig, so you can count on top-notch quality!

What does it have?

The Pocket Kit is designed especially for children between the ages of 4 and 10, which is instantly clear when you look at the shell sizes. It consists of a 16 x 14-inch bass drum, a 10 x 7-inch tom, a 13 x 11-inch floor tom, and a 12 x 5-inch snare. It also comes complete with a hi-hat and a crash ride cymbal that's attached to the bass drum by means of a cymbal arm. All together, it's a compact setup so the distance between the components are small enough for children to reach.
