This beginner kit in Burgundy Red consists of a 20-inch bass drum, 10 and 12-inch toms, a 14-inch floor tom and a matching 14-inch snare drum. And there's more!

With this 5-piece drum kit, Mapex ensures that any beginner will hit the ground running, as the Tornado kit in Burgundy Red comes with a full set of hardware, cymbals, a drum throne and a bass drum pedal. You'll be ready to rock! All the drums feature redesigned lugs - the bass drum and snare have eight, while the toms have six lugs. The 10 and 12-inch toms are kept firmly in place by the included tom holders. And besides hardware upgrades, the Tornado badge also received a redesign. Of course, Mapex also fitted the kit with top-quality drumheads for a great sound and an excellent playing experience - these heads were made by the renowned Remo company.

Furthermore, this drum kit features shells made of linden (basswood), under ISO9001 certification. That means the product is manufactured according to the highest production standards. Furthermore, the Tornado drum sets are crafted exclusively by specially trained personnel in Mapex' own factory. This way you can be sure that you're getting a quality product! The basswood (linden) shells ensure powerful lows and a great balance between mids and highs.

Hardware and cymbals

No matter what genre you want to start playing, you'll need good, stable hardware. And with the stands included with this kit, you won't have to worry about that one bit. Thanks to their double-braced legs, they are very stable indeed! Even when you hit the cymbals with all your might during a particularly rousing rock song, the stands will stay upright. Speaking of cymbals, you'll be getting a 14-inch hi-hat and 16-inch crash/ride. You can drop that phat beat with the robust single bass drum pedal, and thanks to the included throne you'll be as comfortable as any celebrated rock star!
