General
With the Safari shell set in Black Galaxy Sparkle, Sonor delivers a highly compact shell set, with tonal properties you'd only expect of a larger drum kit. This four-piece Sonor SSE 12 consists of a 16-inch bass drum, a 10-inch tom, a 14-inch floor tom and a 14 x 5-inch snare drum. Do note that this is a very limited edition drum kit!
Sonor SSE 12 Safari Black Galaxy Sparkle shell set: poplar shells
This special edition of the Sonor Safari drum kit has 9-ply cross-laminated shells made of poplar. Besides extra durability, that also allows for excellent resonance and a beautiful tone. All shells feature lugs with the TuneSafe system, which ensures that the tension rods stay firmly in place and that your drums won't go out of tune. The bass drum features a tom mount as well as a bass drum riser, which allows you to raise your bass drum so that the beater reaches the centre of the drumhead. This gorgeous shell set comes with Remo UX drumheads and the STH274 single tom holder.
Compact
The Sonor Safari shell set in Black Galaxy Sparkle is nice and compact, which allows for easy transport, making the Safari kit great for many different applications. Setting up and tearing down is a quick and easy affair, which means this kit is ideal for touring drummers. The Sonor Safari SSE 12 might be small, but it packs quite the sonic punch and a remarkably reasonable price!

En vergis je niet in de basdrum! Ongeacht zijn formaat van 16 inch heeft deze een hele diepe bas.
In volume iets lager dan een 20 of 22 inch maar dat valt best mee. Anders gewoon uitversterken..
Het grote voordeel van deze kit is dat hij op de achterbank van de auto past. Echt een mobiele kit!
De snare past perfect op de floortom en zit dan ook vast tussen de poten ervan.
Ik heb m gekocht voor 399,-. Weet niet waarom de prijs nu 466,- is. Maar iig is het dat wel waard!
Ideaal voor jamsessies, makkelijk vervoer en een warme rijke klank!.
Uitstekende prijs/kwaiteitverhouding.
Uiteraard snelle toplevering van bax.
Heel tevreden!
