For over four decades, Tama have been producing Superstar kits with obvious pride. Instead of re-inventing the wheel, Tama simply take a successful formula and improve on it again and again with modern tweaks to construction and hardware while never straying too far from the original Superstar range. This Superstar Classic kit is stamped with the fittingly-classic T-shaped logo on the shells and small '70s-style lugs. Each shall has been made using maple for a full sound that'll seamlessly fit any playing style or genre. This 5-piece pack gives you a 22 x 16-inch bass drum, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8-inch toms, a 16 x 14-inch floor tom and a 14 x 6.5-inch snare, each of which come in a transparent Black Burst finish.

Modern shell Hardware

An enhanced set of drums demands matching enhanced tech and as such, a Star Mount tom mount comes included. With it, you can mount your toms with just four tension rods with slimmed down lugs, that make as little contact with the shell as possible. This not only looks neat but noticeably improves resonance. The ball joint in the tom mount enables you to position the toms at any angle while the included Power Craft II drum heads make this kit sound great virtually out of the box. and, since the kick drum comes ready fitted with dampening rings, you won't even need any extra mufflers!
