General
This 4-piece Tama Superstar Hyperdrive shell set includes a bass drum, two rack toms and a floor tom. If you take a look at the shell sizes, you'll notice the two rack toms aren't as deep, which means there's more headroom to experiment with the configuration of your customised set-up. Does this mean you're losing out on sound? Definitely not. Each Superstar Hyperdrive drum kit is designed to offer nothing but superior quality in its price range and is suitable for all playing styles from jazz to rock.
The Tama ML42HBN+H-SFG Superstar HD Maple Seafoam Green 4-Piece Shell Set
Both rack toms (10 x 6.5" / 12 x 7") and the floor tom (16 x 14") are made of maple and consist of 6 layers for 5 mm thick walls. The bass drum (22 x 18") on the other hand is built out of 8 layers and measures 7 mm in thickness. All of the shells are coated in Soafoam Green and fitted with Power Craft II drum heads. Each boasts brilliant Black Nickel hardware including Sound Bridge High-Tension lugs and Die-Cast hoops while the rack toms are suspended from cymbal stands via Tama's Star-Cast Mounting System and two Tama MC69 tom holders.
Tama Iron Cobra 200 Hardware
Is that it, then? No, because this shell set also includes a complete hardware pack: the Tama HB5W Iron Cobra 200 consisting of two cymbal stands with arms, a snare drum stand, a hi-hat stand and an Iron Cobra single bass drum pedal. All that's left to start drumming now is a snare drum and some cymbals!
