This Absolute Hybrid Maple shell set consists of a 22-inch bass drum, two toms measuring 10 and 12 inches each and a 16-inch floor tom. Bearing edges

Yamaha put a lot of thought into the bearing edges of this shell set, because the contact between the bearing edge and the drumhead is essential for sound transmission. In order to give the bass drum good, clear low frequencies, it has a 30-degree bearing edge. Yamaha designed the toms with 45-degree bearing edges for a nice balanced tone from each tom.

Drumheads
