The Yamaha PAC1611MS is a Mike Stern special signature-model electric guitar. This revamped edition of the PAC1511MS was made with the specifications of one of the most important of the jazz great Mike Stern's guitars: a classic T-style model. It features a one-piece maple neck and fretboard finished with oil for added comfort. Furthermore, you'll find two full-sounding humbucker pickups by the famous Seymour Duncan. As a serious guitarist, you'll be getting a versatile and reliable instrument with the PAC 1611.

A Versatile Guitar

In contrast with the single-coil models that came before this one, this guitar offers warm humbucker pickups with a defined sound. The '59 is tight and deep, and the Hot Rail features a brighter sound - from spacious chords to wailing solos, the PAC1611MS can do it all. The pickups are mounted on an ash body, which gives the guitar strong resonance and, as we can clearly see, a beautiful wood grain look. Something else that's new with the 1611, when compared to the 1511, is the exclusive IRA (Initial Response Acceleration) wood-handling technology that gives this brand new guitar a mature, responsive sound right out of the box.
