Together with Alexi Laiho (singer/lead guitarist of metal band Children of Bodom) LTD made this rather attractive electric guitar. This black Randy Rhoads-like model has the familiar, razor-sharp V shape with a special cutaway at the top so you can reach the highest frets with ease. Its striking details include the matching pointy headstock and the serrated white position markers. This is a great instrument for metal guitarists who like to take a good step beyond an entry-level instrument.

LTD Alexi-200 BLK: Versatile Metal Tone

Be prepared to stand in awe, for the sound of this rough guitar is truly amazing. The LTD Alexi 200 BLK is equipped with a roaring ESP LH-301 humbucker that is well-equipped to take on the heaviest types of music such as metal and hard rock. The tremolo bridge allows you to create a whole new range of different sounds while effortlessly bending the strings this way and that. The bridge is an affordable, yet still highly reliable Floyd Rose Special which is a lot more rugged and tonally stable than the TRS versions you see on many budget guitars.
