Bringing the fire, this teeny-tiny Fazley MTD-01 Brutal Barry stompbox wields surprisingly big high-gain distortion - the ideal sidekick for straight-up rock and brutal metal guitarists. While this compact pedal could be all yours for an extremely modest price, it features a super-silent integrated circuit (IC) to limit noise and result in defined sound, while the true-bypass design keeps the output clean when the pedal is switched off.
The Fazley MTD-01 Brutal Barry: Tame the Beast
Brutal Barry's control layout keeps things stripped back and simple, so beginners as well as experienced guitarist can easily tame the beast and dial in their own custom distortion. Twist the Level mini-pot to set the output volume, tweak the Tone mini-pot to shape the equalization, then crank the full-sized Gain pot in the middle to push the intensity of the distortion to the extreme, or pull it right back as preferred.
