Who doesn't want the classic, fat sound of valve-distortion in their setup? With the neat little Fazley TDS-01 Valve Stack Vinny, you get all of that packed away inside a teeny-tiny stompbox and slapped with a teeny-tiny price tag. This pedal is so slimline, it's easily slotted onto any pedalboard, and while it's so slimline, it offers a detailed set of controls. At the top, a three-way mini-switch flips the distortion mode through Fat, Boost or Normal, while the big Gain pot in the middle dictates the distortion level. Once you've hit your preferred flavour, simply bring it all to shape via the Tone pot and balance the output level with your dry signal via the Volume pot. As a super-sweet bonus, the Valve Stack Vinny comes wrapped up in a near-indestructible aluminium box and features the smooth operation of a true-bypass design, so this pedal doesn't add any colour to your sound when switched off.
