Cramming the classic high-gain distortion of a hot-rodded valve amplifier into one ityy-bitty box, the Reissue Series Plexi Crunch from Nux throws things back to the sixties. This distortion pedal comes outfitted with a fully analogue circuit with three amplification phases, active tone switching and true-bypass hardware switching. Basically, the Plexi Crunch slaps the sound of a wall of Marshall amps directly onto your pedalboard. Shape the mid-frequencies with the Tone pot; push up or pull back the distortion level with the Preamp pot; and tweak the trebles with the Presence pot to mix your preferred distortion colour. And, while this stompox comes with a 9V battery, it's pretty power-hungry, so hooking it up to a 9V power supply is definitely recommended.
