General

The Samson DK705 5-piece drum microphone set enables you to close-mike three toms, a snare and a bass drum for live amplification or a studio recording. The types of microphone are the Q72 for the toms and snare and a Q71 microphone for the bass drum. All have a supercardioid pickup pattern and a frequency response of 50 Hz - 16 kHz. Clamps and adapters are also included so you can easily attach the mics to the rim of your drum. The whole set comes complete in a protective case.

Ik heb deze set gekocht om te gebruiken in combinatie met de overheads van Samson de C05.
De microfoons geven het geluid erg goed weer.
Ik heb de set zowel voor live uitversterking als voor opname gebruikt en voor beide doeleinden voldoen ze erg goed!
Je moet best wel wat kracht zetten om de klemmetjes over de trommel hoop te plaatsen.
Daarentegen blijven de microfoons wel goed zitten, en zullen ze naar verloop van tijd wel soepeler gaan.
Ik vind het ook erg fijn dat er een clipje achterop de microfoonklem zit waarin je de kabel kunt klemmen.
Zo is de kabel beschermd mocht er iemand op stappen, dan krijgt niet meteen de connector en de microfoon een schok.

Deze set is zeker een aanrader als je je drum kit wilt versterken of opnemen!

Ik gebruik dit setje in de studio voor opnames als voor repetities in de drumcabine.
Maar geeft het geluid goed weer. Prijskwaliteitsverhouding is goed!
