The Roland CY-18DR Digital Ride
Roland's V-Drums are extremely popular for a reason. In the world of electronic drum kits, they're top-notch when it comes to playability and quality. Thanks to the velocity-sensitive, dual-zone triggers, the samples sound totally different depending on where you hit the cymbal, on the bow, the bell or the edge. There are three sensors in this cymbal pad alone, which can be used as a ride or a crash. It also has a choke function for muting the cymbal sound. Roland have generously included everything you need to connect this cymbal pad to your module so you can get started right away.
The Roland PD-140DS V-Pad Snare Drum
This digital snare is 14 inches in diameter and 4.3 inches deep. It's equipped with a 3-ply mesh snare pad that keeps the volume level under control. It has eight sensors and produces different sounds depending on where or how you hit the snare; it even responds to brushes!
