General
A stick snapping halfway through a song, or one that has been missing for weeks: every drummer knows the feeling. A decent stock is never a bad idea, certainly if you sit behind the kit regularly. This bundle from Cascha gives you twelve pairs of 7A sticks, so twenty-four sticks to work through at your leisure. Your sticks decide a large part of your sound, which is why they need to be balanced, comfortable in the hand and not too heavy. That is exactly the combination Cascha aims for.
Maple wood and an acorn tip
The wood makes the difference here. These sticks are made of solid maple, which is a good deal lighter than hickory. You can play without tiring and keep a dynamic sound, even across a whole evening, while the solid wood is still strong enough to take heavier work. The tip has an acorn shape, a slightly rounder tip shape. With a length of 395 mm and a diameter of 14 mm, these are genuine 7A's: slender and agile, and fully in their element with lighter playing styles such as jazz and blues.
