Jazz and blues drummers like to use brushes instead of regular Drumsticks. The handles of brushes do not have a head but a set of bristles that produce a soft sound. These bristles are made of nylon or metal, the latter being the most popular. Some brushes allow for the retracting of the bristles in order to vary in width and length. The handle is generally made of wood and might have a rubber coating. A louder alternative to the brush is the rute. Don’t forget to add Drumstick Accessories such as bags, tape and holders to your order.
