Rutes, also known as multi-rods or hot rods, are a perfect intermediate between drumsticks and Drum Brushes. These drumsticks were invented by Pro-Mark and consist of multiple thin canes bundled up into one beater. If you find that drumsticks are too loud and brushes do not produce enough attack, these rutes might be the solution. With these 'rods' you can let go while drumming without having to worry that you'll dominate the rest of the band. Don’t forget to add the necessary drumstick accessories to your order, such as tape, cases and bags.
