General
There are very few rods for the real lumberjacks among us. Most rods are not sturdy enough, or they don't have the right sound. Scottish company Flix has made these black rods quite thick and fitted them with a nylon tip. The tips give the rods more definition, especially on toms and cymbals. The black ring is adjustable so you can still adjust the attack to your own needs. The plastic handle feels comfortable and provides great balance.
