General

Ahead offers revolutionary drum sticks. They feature an aluminium core, which means that, unlike regular wooden drum sticks, every Ahead drumstick has the exact same weight and balance. On top of that, they last up to ten times longer!

Ahead FatBeat 5A drum sticks with aluminium core:

The special alloy used to create the core ensures minimal variation of only 1% in weight and balance, compared to wooden sticks, which can vary by up to 20%. The built-in VRS system (Vibration Reduction) reduces fatigue in the hands so you can play longer and maintain your flexibility. These 5A drum sticks also feature replaceable synthetic sleeves, rings and tips.

Switch

'Make the switch' is the slogan for the American drum stick company Ahead. Many famous drummers have 'made the switch' already, including:

  • James Kottak (Scorpions)
  • Lars Ulrich (Metallica)
  • Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac)
  • Phil Rudd (AC/DC)
  • Scott Rockenfield (Queensryche)
  • Tico Torres (Bon Jovi)
  • Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe)
  • Will Champion (Coldplay)

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a manufacturing defects warranty.

Ahead FB-5A FatBeat 5A drum sticks with aluminium core
