Vater's Classics 8D Jazz sticks are actually 7A sticks, but slightly longer and with an acorn-shaped tip. These sticks are made of hickory, they have a length of 16 inches and feature a wooden tip. These are fine sticks if you like the 7A size, but like a bit more length so the sticks are a bit more responsive.
