As the name suggests, these Vic Firth ESTICK drum sticks are designed specifically for use with electronic drum kits. They have a long taper for a natural touch and the special, rounder shape of their tip provides a great response in combination with electronic pads. These durable hickory eSticks are 16 ¼-inch long (41.6 cm), and have a 14mm diameter.

Niet gedacht dat deze drumstokken zoveel verschil zouden maken ten opzichte van de "classic" 5A (vic firth en pearl stokken). Deze esticks voelen behoorlijk lichter aan, maar klinken daardoor ook "lichter" op mijn roland vdrums (hetgeen ik een nadeel vind). Maar doordat ze lichter zijn heb ik minder last van mijn spieren en pezen (de reden waarom ik andere stokken wilde proberen). De rebound van de stok is beduidend beter dan van mijn 5A stokken. Ik weet niet wat hier de belangrijkste factor voor is: Gewicht, vorm van de tip of de langere taper. Enige nadeeltje is dus dat ik ze net iets ieler vind klinken, maar voor de rest bevallen ze mij tot nu toe zeer goed!
