General
In Wincent's range, we find many variations of these in addition to the standard sizes. For example, this W-5BXXL is an ultra-long version of a standard 5B, so even longer than the 5BXL. This means that drummer has a longer range with these sticks and the sound is even more powerful. These sticks use hickory wood, which is less likely to splinter thanks to a special manufacturing process with a grindstone and wax layer. This also applies to the drop-shaped tip. This ultra-long stick gives just a bit more length and more power.
Wincent: Swedish quality
Wincent was created in 1992 when Swedish drummer Dan Nylén experienced problems with his rods. He decided to make them himself from now on. With the help of his father, a woodworker, he set to work in his garage. He decided to name the brand after his father's middle name: Wincent. The rods were followed by drumsticks and brushes, all featuring great durability and an environmentally friendly approach.
