Wincent W-7AXL Extra-Long 7A Hickory Drumsticks

Finished with the same diameter and tear-drop tip as a pair of W-7A sticks, the Wincent W-7AXL drumsticks are extra long, adding on another 14mm to increase the reach and boost the power and volume. They're also extra-durable thanks to Wincent's unique production process, where each stick is carved into shape using a grindstone rather than a wood lathe before being given an ultra-thin coat of wax to prevent splintering, making them "as close to metal as wood can get".

Wincent: Swedish Quality

Wincent was founded in 1992 when Swedish drummer Dan Nylén was having some problems with his rods. He decided to make them himself in his garage with his father's help, who was a woodworker. He named the brand after his father's middle name, which was Wincent. The rods were only the beginning—there soon followed drum sticks and brushes of all types, with emphasis on durability and an ecologically-friendly manufacturing process.
