Wincent is a Swedish stick manufacturer whose motto is "as close to metal as wood can get". Not surprisingly, Daniel Erlandsson, the drummer of metal band Arch Enemy, was asked to design his own stick. To play his solid, fast and technical style of playing, he uses sticks with a thickness in between a standard 5A and 5B, made of hickory wood and fitted with a drop-shaped tip. The 666-BPM are longer than regular sticks, giving even more power and volume to the strokes. Wincent: Swedish quality

Wincent was created in 1992 when Swedish drummer Dan Nylén experienced problems with his rods. He decided to make them himself from now on. With the help of his father, a woodworker, he set to work in his garage. He decided to name the brand after his father's middle name: Wincent. The rods were followed by drumsticks and brushes, all featuring great durability and an environmentally friendly approach.
