The hyper-cardioid pickup of this dynamic instrument microphone allows you to capture high-volume sound from up close and, since the design is nicely compact and manageable, the isolation is actually excellent. As expected, the Audio Technica ATM230 packs a beautifully warm sound with solid attack and comes including a deluxe pouch, thread adapter and AT8665 drum mount.
