Specially designed for recording drums and other percussion instruments, the Lewitt DTP 340 TT dynamic instrument microphone can handle high volume levels without losing sonic focus. This stage-ready, super-cardioid microphone efficiently limits mic bleed by blocking out sound coming from the back and sides, keeping the sound clean and full of detail. The DTP 340 TT comes with a storage pouch and two microphone clips.

These microphones are superb on my Tom Tom's. They capture the drums with great clarity and because of their design they don't capture much spill from the rest of the kit which makes mixing alot easier. I purchased a few lewitt mics for drum kit and other applications and I really can't speak highly enough of the microphones I have bought and used.

Deze microfoons klinken goed voor hun geld. Er is 1 groot nadeel: ze zijn heel gevoelig voor contactgeluid en pikken dus veel bijgeluiden op, bijvoorbeeld van de kick als de toms op de kick bevestigd zijn, of via een houten vloer als ze op een stand staan. Alleen geschikt voor harde instrumenten dus en dan een flink laag-af filter er overheen. Ik zou ze niet opnieuw kopen maar dan voor de Sennheiser E904 gaan, die zijn ook wat kleiner.
