The Lewitt DTP 640 REX instrument microphone is equipped with both a condenser and a dynamic microphone capsule, making it absolutely perfect for capturing the sound of drums and other bass-heavy instruments. The dual-capsule system of the DTP 640 REX doesn't just offer maximum control, but ensures accurate reproduction of kick drums without sacrificing the rich, low sound of the shell.
The DTP 640 REX: Three Modes
The Lewitt DTP 640 REX features three selectable sound modes: 'Linear Mode' for natural sound, 'Dynamic Enhanced Frequency Response Mode' for a 3 kHz to 5 kHz boost applied to the dynamic capsule, and 'Dual Enhanced Frequency Response Mode' for a 3 kHz to 5 kHz boost applied to the dynamic capsule while the condenser capsule zooms in on the 70 Hz to 150 Hz frequency range for rich, full sound.
