The Audio Technica MB1k is an excellent microphone with a friendly price tag for various vocal and speech applications in choirs or bands, for instance. This blue dynamic microphone contains a powerful neodymium magnet in the capsule, for a stable output. You can count on clear signal transfers and a sound that cuts right through the mix. The latter means that the MB1k is also ideal for lead vocals.

This budget microphone features a MagnaLock on/off switch that can be operated quietly - no more worries about loud popping noises! Furthermore, the switch can be locked so that the microphone won't be accidentally turned off. Thanks to a built-in anti-shock mechanism, the MB1k is very quiet, especially when it comes to LF ambient noise. The accessory Quiet-Flex microphone clip also adds to this.
