Behringer ULTRAVOICE XM1800S Dynamic Microphones (Set of 3)

My old Karaoke mikes nonslip coating had gone sticky plus one has a rattle which was annoying and both where lacking on high frequencies. I looked around and saw all the good reviews on these and thought 3 Behringer mikes in a case with 3 mike clamp fittings + additional accessories (Cable and wind socks) for just over £40 can't be missed. Note The stand clips don't fit the mike body but the XLR connector plug. Sound quality--much cleaner than old mikes which has required adjustments to mixer as I'm no pro singer and need hiding in the mix a little.... Can't comment on durability but they are heavier than my old mikes and seem well put together. On/off switch is a must have for me as I stand in front of Speakers in my little music room and can get occasional feed back when parking mike.

I really like these microphones for several reasons. Firstly the hard case and presentation is superb, the microphones feel sturdy and very solid. I had a few microphones previously from other brands and these are much better. They are exceptional value and much better than cheap karaoke plastic mics by a long way. I have three microphone stands and I needed the mic holder clamps for them. I priced up buying mic clamps and some other microphones separately at first. I realized this set came with three mic clamps and looked at the price and thought how can they sell three microphones plus three clamps and all presented in a nice hard storage box. Based on the fact the average price for mic stand clamps separately are £3 and there is three which could then cost up to £9.00 just for them, this would make the mics themselves about £6.00 each ignoring the storage case. This is madness as the mics are excellent quality and the sound from them is far superior to the mics I already have. If you need a microphone I recommend this set as its exceptional value and in my opinion they are worth much more than this price. I have a small room here and a Behringer mixer and I have them all plugged into that and I find it very hard to get feedback from them even with two Carlsboro cabs on stands practically in front of me. So anyone wondering if they give lots of feedback the answer here is no. I have the dials on each mic channel set to max treble, half on mid range and max on bass for each mic and the clarity is superb and clear.

Prima budget microfoons!

De microfoons worden geleverd in een degelijk en stevig koffertje. Het koffertje is vrij compact en daarom makkelijk mee te nemen. Ook zijn de microfoons goed beschermd door het stevige schuim. In tegenstelling tot wat ik in andere reviews heb gelezen passen de microfoons bij mij wel in de meegeleverde clips. Het is wat krap en je moet de microfoons niet te ver doorduwen maar ze zitten stevig in de clips en je hoeft niet bang te zijn dat de microfoons er uit vallen.

De microfoons zelf zijn (zeker voor de prijs) degelijk gebouwd en liggen lekker in de hand. De aan/uit knop is in tegenstelling tot andere microfoons wat kleiner en daarom is het misschien even wennen om deze blind te bedienen maar daar wen je snel genoeg aan.

De geluidskwaliteit is prima. Ik ben zelf geen professional maar voor de niet "audiofiele" gebruiker is het geluid meer dan goed genoeg. Denk er wel aan om zo recht mogelijk in de microfoon te praten. Als je de microfoon maar een beetje schuin voor je mond houdt pikt hij al aanzienlijk minder geluid op.

Zelf gebruik ik de microfoons voor presentaties en ik heb er een keer 1 uitgeleend voor een podcast. Voor zowel de presentatie als de podcast waren ze zeer geschikt.

Conclusie: Echt een aanrader voor als je niet te veel geld uit wil geven.

De microfoons zijn vrij degelijk, maar wel jammer dat ze niet passen in de bijgeleverde microfoonhouders. Heb er apart nieuwe, van een ander type, besteld maar daar sprongen de veertjes al na 1 keer gebruik uit

Degelijke microfoons voor deze prijs met een stevig koffertje.

Niet de beste microfoon in de wereld, maar voor dit prijs, kan ik niks eraan zeggen. This is een set van "goed genoeg" microfoons, en voor de prijs, dat is wat ik heeft verwacht. Eeen goede optie voor mensen met een budget.

Fijne microfoons, ze voelen niet goedkoop aan. Het koffertje is ook handig.
