The PGA series is the successor to the PG series, which was a line of microphones that has proved itself time and time again. This microphone inherited its distinctive appearance from the Shure SM58, the grandfather of all microphones. Its capsule features a cardioid pickup pattern, meaning it's a great stage mic, as it gives feedback little chance. In short, it provides you with the excellent professional quality you need!

The Shure PGA48: An overview

This type of microphone has always been best suited for vocals. With its limited frequency range of 70 Hz - 15 kHz, ideal for warm-sounding vocals, it caters to both male and female vocalists. What's more, it features a pop filter that's built into the metal grille. The entire housing is made of metal, meaning the PGA48 is quite durable, and it features a practical on/off switch. It's a great mic for karaoke night!
