Bragi's The Dash earphones will take your sporting sessions to the next level. These sport earphones are not only truly wireless, but they feature biometric sensors that can measure your performance! When Bragi say wireless, they really mean wireless; the left and right side of the earphones are not even connected to each other! You can connect your smartphone via Bluetooth, of course, but The Dash earphones also have 4 GB of built-in storage space so that you can listen to your music while doing sport without your smartphone. If you're a runner, a swimmer or a cyclist, The Dash can give you feedback on your performance as it's happening.
Real-time feedback
The biometric sensors can measure a number of things including heart rate, steps, duration, calories, distance and cadence, depending on what sport you're doing. They'll even give you real time voice feedback on all of this. If you're a swimmer, they'll count your breaths and pool lengths too! Just don't go diving with them as they're not designed to go deeper than 1 metre. To get the best out of your The Dash earphones, you can download the Bragi app that allows you to customise the settings. The app also gives you visual information on all your sporting activities and allows you calibrate functions that work with body movements and gestures. The app is free to download and is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows 10 Mobile.
Touch and gesture sensitive
The Dash earphones can be controlled using the EarTouch interface or by using gestures. Taps and swipes will work even when your hands are wet or you're wearing gloves. If you want to accept a call, simply nod your head, or shake your head to reject it. The Audio Transparency function gives you the choice to amplify ambient noise or isolate it. A number of accessories come with The Dash including a charger, a micro USB cable, ear sleeves in four different sizes (XS to L), a link to access the online Quick Start guide and a set of Bragi stickers. The Dash earphones last up to 4 hours but they can be charged on the go using the mobile charger that functions as a mobile battery, giving you up to 15 hours of musical enjoyment at a time.
