Plugin Suite
The Red line was initially introduced in 1994 and has remained one of Focusrite Pro's most successful and well-known products to this day. Virtually any professional recording studio has a Focusrite Pro Red at its disposal. The design is based on the ISA 215 EQ circuits, which were originally developed for the Focusrite Forte console. The Red 2 is a versatile machine that's equipped with a flexible 6-band configuration with high and low-pass filters. The console is characterised by its warm, elegant sound. The Red 3 is inspired by the network structure of the ISA 130 compressor module, which actually won Focusrite a TEC award at one point. The Red 3 is known for its output capacity and ability to maintain a neutral sound, even at high levels of compression. For this reason, the Focusrite Red 3 is often the professional audio engineer's first choice.
