Here, physical modelling and convolution technology ensures extremely authentic results where the analogue characteristics are digitally reproduced.

The T-RackS Tape Machine Collection sets you up with the Tape Machine 440: a perfect emulation of the Ampex 440B tape machine from the late 60sIdeal for mixing and mastering. In addition, you get the Tape Machine 80: an emulation of the Studer A80 Mk II from the '70s and '80s. This machine became the de facto standard for professional multi-tracking at the time and can be heard on countless recordings. The Revox PR99 Mk II, a stereo recorder produced by Studer in the late '80s, is the next tape machine that was meticulously immortalised by IK Multimedia in the form of the Tape Machine 99. The last tape machine in the collection is the Tape Machine 24, which is based on the renowned MCI JH24: an '80s tape machine that was widely used in American studios and praised for its faithfulness to the original sound source.
