General

If you're mixing drums on the regular, the MeldaProduction MDrumLeveler is an endlessly useful addition to your virtual studio toolbox. With this plug-in, the velocity (the audible volume) can be tightened and balanced in detail for a more consistent overall mix, and this is done with way more transparency and accuracy than you're likely to get out of just any dynamic effect. The recording can also be wiped clean of any unwanted ambient noise and microphone leakage with comfortable ease. Shorter? Longer? The choice is yours! And to throw in one last tempting detail, MDrumLeveler is so fast, it could even handle being used live.
