General
While the MeldaProduction MSpectralDelay does everything you would expect a virtual delay to do, it does it better. Sure, you can make it conjure echoes, but it's what you can do with those echoes that matters. Why not throw them through the provided pitch-shifter, then add or swap that out for a frequency-shifter, or mess around with the formant? Using the equaliser, you can draw every colour and flavour out of the delay and shape an entirely bespoke effect, then make it all the more prominent with a little or a lot of feedbacking. You also have influence over the stereo image and can set up a nicely disorientating ping-pong delay. Here, you can even do stuff like specify which frequencies are sent left or right and back again, or you can just leave the low-end in the middle while the high-end sways from left to right. On top of all of that, the parameters can be extensively modulated so you can effectively design sound using nothing but any audio-source you can lay your hands on and this awesome, synth-like delay.
