PreSonus Ampire includes amplifier/cabinet/stompbox simulation software and is normally included with Studio One Professional. Don't worry if your DAW of choice is a different one, this separate plug-in will still be compatible. The pack includes five amplifier models, sixteen cabinets and a virtual pedalboard crammed with effects. Based in Germany, the engineers of Ampire are specialised in State Space Modelling Technology, which is the reason why this plug-in so accurately emulates amplifiers and effects in minute detail. From the resistors and diodes to the tubes and circuit board lay-out, every part of the analogue circuits is loaded into their digital counterparts. Regarding the speakers cabs, these are based on impulse responses: 'snapshots' of the speakers being used in live recording situations for an accurate acoustic representation of real world use. Speel je gitaar en neem je op met Studio 1 (Presonus), dan is dit de ideale aanvulling... voor een lage prijs krijg je toegang tot heel wat meer versterkers, pedalen, sounds... Ik had enkel de basisversie van Studio 1 (door een geluidsinterface van presonus te kopen), die was qua gitaar wel beperkt... nu met de Ampire-uitbreiding kan ik veel meer doen bij de opnames.
