General
The DR Strings DBSMB6-30 Black Dragon Medium is a set of strings for 6-string electric bass guitars with a multiscale scale length. The set combines a round core with stainless steel windings and a black K3 coating. Thanks to Accurate Core Technology, the strings feel supple and respond evenly to the touch. The strings are designed to deliver a clear, defined tone, with both low and high notes coming through clearly. The Medium gauge is intended for bassists seeking a balance between playing comfort, controlled tension and a powerful, consistent tone.
Bright tone and long-lasting performance
The stainless steel windings ensure a clear tone with distinct articulation and sufficient presence in the mix. The black K3 coating helps the tone last longer and gives the strings a distinctive dark finish. The round core contributes to balanced string tension and a smooth playing feel. Combined with Accurate Core Technology, this supports an even response across the different strings. This is particularly useful for bassists who play regularly and value a consistent tone and comfortable playability, both during rehearsals and at live performances.
