The first ever flatwound strings to feature cobalt winding, this pack of Ernie Ball 2812 Regular Slinky Flatwound Bass strings aren't just built to last way longer, but boast the smooth feel of a set of flatwounds and the direct sound of a set of roundwounds. The medium, .050 to .105 gauge, meanwhile, retains full tone and supple tension alongside that classic, Slinky-grade playability.
Ernie Ball Cobalt Slinky Strings
The use of cobalt also boosts the magnetic attraction between the pickups and strings to guarantee an incomparable dynamic range, excellent overtone response, a potent bottom-end, and excellent high-end clarity.
