General

Powerful, solid sound framed by a clean and tight design: the Charvel Frank Bello Signature Pro-Mod So-Cal Bass PJ IV has definitely been built according to the legendary Anthrax bassist's exacting demands.

Hardware & Finish

The exclusive look of a mirrored pickguard and a set of black block inlays sets the tone, while a maple neck, 34 inch scale length, and a compound fretboard radius that graduates from 12 inches at the nut to 16 inches at the 20th fret supports comfortable and reliable playability all the way up. The graphite reinforced neck maximises reliability while ultra-dependable intonation and superior sustain is guaranteed by the Charvel HiMass bridge and Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut.

Supreme Tone

Since Bello's infamous tone is described by a hefty punch, a tight mid-range and a defined low-end, that's exactly what this signature model delivers. Power, driving tone and just enough sustain is assured by a set of active EMG Frank Bello Signature P/J pickups, each equipped with a dedicated volume pot, and this classic yet dynamic configuration easily supports everything from bright cleans to extreme distortion.
