Based on a classic, the P-style Fazley FPB118 puts a solid yet affordable starter-instrument in the hands of anyone itching to start playing the bass. This four-string bass comes loaded with a passive split-coil pickup and a fuss-free set of tone and volume controls for dialling in some growl and punch, as well as a comfy, bolt-on maple neck with a modern C-profile while the dark fretboard has been loaded with 20 frets. The body has been finished with a high-gloss lacquer, completing a comfortable model that boasts the kind of snug playability that's perfect for beginners, and just as perfect as a back-up for gigging bassists.

My wife bought me this bass as a present and I was very pleased with how good it is for a budget guitar,flawless body,no sharp frets,straight neck,played great straight out of the box,I oiled the fretboard polished the frets and rubbed the back of the neck with wire wool and it is now a nice back up bass for my stingray,I am that impressed with it I am going to order the jazz bass version,very well packaged and fast delivery, thanks bax music your a star!

Beautiful colour! Arrived exactly when expected and very well packaged. There are a few small imperfections on the body but these are purely cosmetic and barely noticeable. Easy to tune and play, have had no problems with the electronics. The strings sound a little twangy and cheap but that may be partly down to my amateur playing and they look like theyll be easy to change if needed. Overall, this bass may not be up to standard for serious players but was absolutely worth the money for a beginner such as myself and I would highly recommend it to somebody just starting out and on a budget!

Lovely colour. But worst bass I've ever owned in fifteen years playing. Pickups and electrics are terrible - look like they will fall apart if you breath on them, neck is hardwork to play and was made with different pieces of wood stuck together. There are far superior basses for less available, my advice would be to shop around.
