Epiphone's very own Embassy bass is back! Originally released in 1963 to compete with the Thunderbird, this modernised love-note comes refined by features fit to shape a stubborn, ground-shaking character of its very own. So, the machine heads have been given a petulant 2-by-2 configuration mounted to a classic Epiphone headstock, and while the top horn of the body has also grown a bit since the original '60s version, giving this double-cut model a nicely asymmetrical finished, the Tune-O-Matic bridge and Claw tailpiece are as authentic as it gets.
The Embassy Bass: Medium C-Neck & ProBucker Bass 760 Pickups
The mahogany neck has been glued into the matching mahogany body to ensure optimum resonance and a warm foundation sound with a clear mid-range and nice, rounded trebles. The neck has also been finished with a medium C-profile for a smooth feel that sits snug in the fret hand. Meanwhile, the Embassy is home to a pair of double-coiled passive ProBucker Bass 760 pickups able to shape flexible vintage-edged tone that can be tweaked to taste using no-fuss volume and tone controls before being perfectly mixed with the blend pot.

Geluid is best mooi. Blend tussen pickuos goed af te stellen evenals toon en volumen. De knoppen staan wat scheef, masr voor deze prijs kan je daarover niet klagen.
Al met al, best leuke bas, verhouding prijs/kwal een 8.

De hals is aan de dikke kant, maar speelt alsnog vrij snel en soepel.
De bas kan goed omgaan met flatwounds maar ook met roundwounds en een beetje distortion. Ik krijg zelf altijd zin om jaren 60 muziek te spelen op deze bas.
Fijne bas voor een goede prijs! Hele nette afwerking!
