From the ash body to the 1-piece maple neck, the American Vintage II 1954 Precision bass is all about authenticity. In terms of specs, that means you're looking at 20 frets and a 7.25" fretboard radius, as well as a real bone nut and a Pure Vintage 2-Saddle Precision Bass bridge for maximum harmonic sustain.
That Famous Fender Sound
To grant this bass that famed P-Bass sound, Fender haven't just wired up the electronics like they did way back when, they've also dropped a purpose-designed Pure Vintage ‘54 Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup in the middle position for convincingly accurate sound.
