The build starts with the necessary resonance of a solid alder body dipped in a durable high-gloss polyester and a maple neck bound via a four-bolt joint. For good measure, this edition of the Jazz Bass comes complete with a deluxe gig bag.

The Modern-C neck profile has an immediately snug feel in the fret-hand and, since the backside has been given a coat of satin-gloss, you're assured of smooth passage all the way from the headstock to the body. The slightly flatter 9.5 inch fretboard radius also helps lighten the load, while the twenty-two medium jumbo frets supply the necessary control and grip. The hardware loadout is polished off by a robust Fender HiMass bridge, packing the sound of this bass with increased sustain and, since all of that is supported by a TUSQ nut and set of Tapered-Shaft Open-Gear machine heads, you're also guaranteed solid tuning.

On their own, the two Player II Noiseless Jazz Bass single-coils shovel on the rich, defined and flexible J-style output that we all know and love, free of any of the single-coil-style noise we all know and loathe.
