General

With a whopping 24 frets, the MetroExpress Modern Roasted Maple from Sadowsky offers a nice long range, in a lightweight and economically priced bass guitar. Besides the sound, its sleek design without a pickguard and with clean-looking Soapbar pickups ensure that it definitely deserves the title Modern. Because the pickups are placed slightly differently from other bass guitars, it has a unique sound. This is given another modern touch thanks to the active EQ with treble and bass boost. Thanks to a balance control, the signal from both elements can be mixed seamlessly, allowing you to achieve an impressive spectrum of sounds.

Roasted Maple: an innovative wood product

The neck and fingerboard of the Sadowsky MetroExpress 24-fret Modern is made of Roasted Maple. This is an innovative wood product that has undergone thermal treatment. This makes it lighter and, compared to normal maple wood, gives it more stability and a wonderful resonance. In addition, it has a nice warm colour. So it is ideal for a bass guitar neck. The body is made of Okoume, a type of wood that is also lightweight which makes this bass guitar a lightweight powerhouse. It comes with the Sadowsky PortaBag: a sturdy bag that protects your bass guitar and offers a practical way to transport it thanks to its shoulder straps and handle.
