General

The Sire Marcus Miller V7+ A5 Black Sparkle is a high-quality 5-string electric bass guitar that brings the famous Marcus Miller sound within reach. Thanks to the combination of a North American alder body, a stable maple neck and an ebony fingerboard, this J-model bass delivers a clear, full-bodied tone with powerful bass notes and a pronounced mid-range. The stylish Black Sparkle finish completes the look and gives this bass a striking appearance on any stage.

Versatile electronics and excellent playability

The V7+ A5 is fitted with a set of Marcus Super-J Revolution single-coil pickups and the Marcus Heritage-3 preamp with mid-frequency control. This gives you a wide range of tonal possibilities, from warm vintage jazz bass tones to modern, powerful sounds. The mini-toggle switch allows you to easily switch between active and passive modes. The rounded Edgeless™ fretboard edges also ensure a comfortable playing experience, whilst the C-profile neck feels comfortable in your hand during long rehearsals and gigs.

Reliable hardware for every bassist

When it comes to hardware, this Sire leaves nothing to be desired. The Marcus Miller Modern S bridge with string-through-body construction ensures tight string tension, excellent sustain and precise intonation. Premium open-gear tuning machines offer stable tuning, whilst the bone nut enhances resonance and clarity. Thanks to its 34-inch scale length, five strings and versatile electronics, this bass is suitable for a wide range of playing styles, from funk and jazz to pop, rock and fusion.
