This entry-level stomper features a solid paulownia body and a maple fretboard and neck, which doesn't just look great but lays down a resonant foundation with a light treble-range bite. This is amplified with fullness and warmth by a mounted pair of J-style single-coil Alan Entwistle designed pickups, each loaded with a ceramic magnetic core and wax-potted coil to keep moisture out and prevent any less-welcome buzz, hum and feedback. Tweak the volume of both pickups via the fitted control pots before dialling in the tone and get familiar with a comfortable all-rounder of a bass that's able to take on any genre and playing style.

Ik heb deze bas gekocht in de winkel van Bax in Goes, dat was op zondag 20 aug 2023. De bas hing niet aan de muur in de showroom, maar lag op voorraad, door een medewerker te vragen kon ik de bas uitproberen.De bas die ik kreeg verschilt iets van de foto op deze site,de zwarte bindings aan de zijkant van de toets ontbreken en de brug is ook anders ,de brug die er nu opzit heeft geen messing zadels. Ik ben wel tevreden met de bass want de pickups klinken goed en de hals is prima, ook de tuners doen hun werk. De body is iets aan de lichte kant waardoor er neckdive kan ontstaan.
