D'Addario takes playing comfort to the next level with the balanced Tension series. The EXL170BT is a regular light .045 set for electric bass guitar. What's so special about this set is that each string has approximately the same tension, which creates the perfect balance between the smoothness of the individual strings, to give you total control of your playing technique. EXL strings are nickel wound, and they produce a rich and crystal-clear sound.

The strings are made of the finest nickel-plated steel wound around a hexagonal high carbon steel core, resulting in a set of strings with a bright, resonant sound, a long lifespan, and excellent intonation. Evenwichtige snaar spanning dat speelt licht vooral op de D snaar, wel iets minder output op de A en D snaar, maar het speel gemak maakt dat ruim goed. Prima prijs / kwaliteit verhouding.
