The Dunlop RTT45130 Trujillo string set is made of rust-resistant steel, and as such it produces a bright, articulated high with the solid mids that will blow any guitarist out of the water. Dunlop RTT45130T: taper-core strings
The Robert Trujillo Icon Series bass strings feature taper cores, which means that the windings become thinner in the direction of both the bridge saddles and the nut. Because the strings are thinner in these places, they produce brighter, more stable intonation and offer extra sustain. Not to mention that this design offers better tuning stability, particularly when it comes to the low B string.
