Designed and tested by the bass guitar professors at GHS, the Round Core Bass Boomers feature a round core and nickel-plated steel winding to result in soft, clear trebles and deep, percussive basses and shape genre-spanning tone. Built to match any playing style, the GHS RC-5M-DYB Round Core Bass Boomers have a Medium tension and are compatible with 5-string basses in standard tuning. Gauges: .045, .065, .085, .105, .130.

Om een langdurig goed en zwaar geluid te krijgen, zijn deze snaren een must. Perfect voor als je metal speelt.

Onlangs gekocht voor mijn eerste
5-snarige bas, een Ibanez gsr 205.
Ik gebruik al sinds de jaren 80 GHS boomers,
en ook deze keer werd ik niet teleurgesteld.
Prettig bespeelbare snaren die goed afgewerkt
aanvoelen, niet te stug zijn, maar ook zeker niet te slap.
Wat geluid betreft valt me altijd op hoe gebalanceerd
ze klinken in alle regionen, en dat ze over het algemeen
ook heel lang zo blijven klinken (verouderen niet snel).
Ik heb zeker andere merken geprobeerd de afgelopen
jaren, maar ik heb nog niks kunnen vinden wat mij
zou kunnen doen besluiten over te stappen.
Kortom; GHS is geweldig, en ook
deze set is daar geen uitzondering op!
