Een verademing. Door artrose heb ik een matige spreiding dus redelijk wat glissando nodig. Gaat smooth en zonder bijgeluid, gekras en vooral ook zonder irritatie aan mijn vingertoppen. Daarbij een heerlijk jazzy geluid, al kon dat ook met roundwound wel gerealiseerd worden.

De eerste gig op de bas duurde 3.5 uur en mijn toppen waren naar de knoppen.
Meteen flatwound snaren erop gezet en dat scheelt. Bespeelbaarheid is prettiger en geen bijgeluiden.
Bij aanschaf van een nieuwe basgitaar ( Sqiure P-Bass ) ook de originele snaren eraf moeten halen.
Zere vingers en veel bijgeluiden als je over de snaren gleed en bij de attack met de rechterhand.
Deze Gibson Flatwound zijn ronduit smooth te bespelen, het past goed bij mijn muziekstijl.
Voor de funky players zal er waarschijnlijk iets te weinig hoog in zitten.
Kortom, een aanrader voor degene die van een warm, rond basgeluid houdt.
