Wrote the following about Rotosound 885LD Tru Bass 88 long-Scale Bass Guitar Strings, 65-135

Dikke snaren met een diepe sound! Deze snaren zijn fijn voor je vingertoppen in de zin dat ze erg glad zijn en dus niet snel irriteren. Maar door de dikte zijn ze wel zwaarder om te bespelen. Ik vind zelf het contrabas idee van deze snaren wat tegenvallen, maar ze klinken wel erg diep en laag en hebben weinig boventonen. Wanneer je bas door een drukke instrumentatie heen moet klinken zoek je waarschijnlijk iets met meer definitie.
